Reconciliation / First Holy Communion Prep
2nd Grade
Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion begin in 2nd grade. First Reconciliation is usually held in November. First Communion is usually held the first Sunday in May.
In addition to classes, the child and parent(s) are also required to attend a retreat hosted at St. Joseph Church to complete sacramental preparation.

Confirmation Prep
7th & 8th Grade
Confirmation Prep traditionally takes place during the student’s 8th grade year. In our Religious Ed program, it starts in 7th grade.
A required retreat will take place at Camp Damascus for 8th graders. The Sacrament of Confirmation is then held in the Spring.
Please fill out the registration form at the beginning of the child’s 8th grade school year to register your child for 8th grade reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
