Sacraments

Holy Communion

Holy Communion, or the Eucharist, refers to Christ’s body, blood, soul, and divinity truly present in the consecrated bread and wine.

Catholics in a state of grace receive Jesus in the Eucharist during Holy Communion at each Mass. It is during First Holy Communion that we receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time.
