SEPTEMBER 8TH – Volunteer Appreciation Event
Volunteer Appreciation Event (5:30p-7:30p): If you’ve volunteered at St. Joes in any way over the past year, we want to appreciate you and thank you for all you have done. The event will take place at Sidecut Park under the pavilion beginning with dinner from La Fiesta at 5:30pm, yard games and fun activities to follow, passing out of our first event SJM Volunteer Shirt, and closing with Eucharistic Adoration together. Registration is required for this event.

SEPTEMBER 9TH – Family Fair / K of C Drive Through Chicken Dinner / Youth Ministry Kickoff
Family Fair (12p-3p): The Annual Parish Family Fair will take place along Broadway Street in front of the church on Saturday, September 9th, from Noon until 3 p.m.! We are changing this up a bit this year! We will still have all of the great kid’s games, corn hole, inflatables and fun! But instead of the traditional potluck, we have invited several food trucks, along with the Knights of Columbus Chicken Dinner! Be sure to bring money for food and drinks! Looking forward to a great Ministry Kick-Off Weekend, celebrating with our amazing St. Joseph Parish Family!

Youth Ministry Kickoff Night (6p-8p): We will be kicking off youth ministry for all of our 6th-12th grade students with a party to remember! We are closing down the street, will have inflatables, games, music, dancing, worship, all you can eat pizza, and more! Make sure you register for youth group and bring all your friends – LIKE ACTUALLY ALL OF THEM!
SEPTEMBER 10TH – RCIA Kickoff / Religious Ed Kickoff / CLOW Kickoff / Donut Sunday / New Parishioner Welcome Gathering / Life Teen
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Kickoff (10a-12p): RCIA is a ministry program to help adults deepen their relationship with God, the Church, and to fully participate in the life of the Catholic community. It runs from Sept – April to prepare those seeking to receive any of the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion.
Religious Ed Kickoff (10a-10:50a): St. Joseph’s Religious Education Program is here to provide faith formation for public school, Homeschool, and other Catholic School children entering 1st through 8th grade.
CLOW Kickoff (11a-12p): Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place on Sunday’s during the 11am mass throughout the school year. No registration necessary.
Donut Sunday: Donuts after the 7am, 9am, and 11am Masses!
New Parishioner Welcome Gathering (12:30p-1:30p): New parishioner welcome event to complete registering for the parish after you fill out the New Family Registration Form. You need to attend a new parishioner welcome gathering to complete registration for the parish.
Each year, the Diocese of Toledo is required to undergo an audit to ensure that it is in compliance with the articles of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. This year’s audit examined the audit period of July 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021. Bishop Daniel Thomas is pleased to announce that the Diocese was found to be in full compliance with the requirements in the Charter following the audit.
