Can you tell how excited we are for Lifeteen?? In a night about living out loud, the kids couldn’t hold their excitement in leading about living with the noise in their lives. We were able to take a break from that noise with a night of Adoration. How good Jesus is to this community!

Our very own Father Mominee is walking all 65 miles over the course of 4 days in prayer and sacrifice for vocations. Father Eric will be joining on Monday, Sept. 29th on a portion of the annual walk. Please gather for Mass at Genoa, Our Lady of Lourdes at 8am and then do a 10 mile walk to Lindsey, OH where we will have lunch. All are welcome to join. The Parish Office is closed today as our staff is attending the 2025 Diocese of Toledo Pastoral Conference at Sauder Village. The office will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, September 24th, 2025.

On Sunday, September 21, the Maumee Police Department will be on hand to assist with road closures and traffic control as runners in the Garmin Marathon cross the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge and continue along East Broadway and River Road into Toledo. The marathon begins at 7:00 a.m. in downtown Toledo and winds through Glass City Metropark, past Hollywood Casino, and into Rossford, Perrysburg, and Maumee before returning downtown. Approximately 3,000 runners are expected to pass through Maumee between 8:00 a.m. and noon, with the largest group traveling through the city between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m., according to race organizers. Maumee Police officers will be stationed along the route to ensure safety and assist motorists, including those traveling in Uptown Maumee. West Bound Broadway Street will be open for thru traffic. The parking lot on Broadway is also open again for mass parking! Thank you for your patience with this project

We are so grateful for all that they do to support our parish, most especially through their prayers! The group meets every third Thursday of the month at 6:00, and always start by praying a rosary! A HUGE thank you to Camp DeSales for hosting 50 of our St. Joseph Maumee Middle School students at camp last week. Our students spent 5 days together playing and praying hard with each other. Their days included daily mass in the camp chapel, messy games, and waterfront time just to name a few activities. They cannot wait to go back next summer!

Due to the Uptown Maumee events on July 3rd, our school & parish offices will be closing at 12pm on Thursday, July 3rd. Our entire campus will also be locked down due to the amount of guests that will be coming to Uptown Maumee for 4th of July festivities. The time has come for us to send Father Joseph on his way to Kalida. This morning at 8:00 a.m. will be his last mass here at St. Joe's. We cannot thank him enough for his humble service over the last 5 years as our Associate Pastor. God Bless you and we will see you soon!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday, June 22nd for the following events here on campus: Corpus Christi Procession - immediately following the 11am mass Family Fair - Come one, Come all to our annual Family Fair. We will be starting after the Procession and have a little fun for everyone. During the Family Fair we are also collecting donations for the Under One Roof Food Pantry of Peanut Butter & Jelly. Please bring a jar if you can to help the food pantry!

Tomorrow night is our monthly Encounter event beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. All are welcome to join for eucharistic adoration, praise, and worship.
