Band
Beginning band starts in the fifth grade for students interested in learning more about musical instrumentation. Band is available for students in grades five through eight. Instruments can be purchased or rented from Rettig Music, Toledo, OH. The St. Joseph Band practices twice a week during the school day. Advance band is also available for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.
Choir
The school choir is a part of a student’s general music class, and consists of students in grades four through eight. They sing a variety of styles such as: Folk Songs, Modern, Spiritual, Musicals, Holy Seasons, and songs from other countries.
Carpenter Choraliers
The Carpenter Choraliers sing approximately five concerts in a year, including school programs, Mass, rest home visits, and for WTVG Channel 13 during the Holiday Moments segments.
