Mr. Kline's Biography

Mr. Don Kline was born and raised in Rising Sun, Ohio, on the same farm where he presently live.  He attended Lakota High School and graduated in 1967.  Mr. Kline then attended Bowling Green State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1971.

While at B.G. he was enrolled in the R.O.T.C. program.  After graduation, he entered the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, flew helicopters, and spent 4 years in the military.

In 1976, Mr. Kline returned home to Rising Sun and took over the farm operation.  He farmed full time until 1993 when he began teaching at St. Joe’s.

He enjoys singing, restoring old trucks, and riding his 4 wheeler on his farm.

Mr. Kline is married to Mary and likes spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He looks forward to teaching his grandchildren about farming and passing on to them his love of science and nature.
