Mr. Weaver's Biography

Mr. Cary Weaver grew up in Sylvania, Ohio where he attended Sylvania High School.  In high school, he was involved in freshman football, varsity cross country, varsity basketball, and varsity track.  He then attended the University of Toledo, where he received his Bachelor’s of Education in 1983.  In college he was involved in intramural sports and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  He also worked in the Student Activities Office.

Mr. Weaver has been teaching for 2 years at St. Joseph School in Maumee.  Before he stated teaching, he worked at Riverside Hospital for 20 years.  Most of his extra curricular activities have been coaching his 3 sons’ teams.  What he like most about teaching is what he learns from the students and what he can have them learn from him.

If he was not teaching he would like to own a major sports team.  He would also like to have been a coach for a college or pro team.  He has also been married to Patty for almost 25 years and they have 3 boys.  Craig is a sophomore at Bowling Green University.  Chad is a junior at Northview High School.  Chris is a 6th grader at McCord Jr. High
